This shoot is about celebrating you as you are right now—it does not matter if you love the way you look right now, I will show you just how beautiful you are today and you will fall in love with yourself like you never have before.

On the day of the shoot, have every article of clothing and accessory that you adore accessible. We love to incorporate everyday pieces, so don’t worry about going out and buying all-new lingerie. Jen will consider your inspiration, look at all your clothing, the location, and the available light for photography, and conceptualize the shoot. Here is a quick list to help get you started with what to have on hand:

1-2 bra & panties sets - mix & match is fun too!
Sheer or lace tops, dresses, fabric, sequins, etc.
Cute pair of panties {please bring at least one pair of black and nude panties}
Sexy high-heel pumps and boots {even rain boots!}
Partner’s favorite outfit or a worn-out tee
Any one-of-a-kind or vintage pieces you have
Necklaces, fishnet stalkings of any color (sometimes we combine different tights/fishnets for more of a high fashion look), stalkings, knee highs, leg warmers, cocktail rings, hair accessories, glasses, etc.

This is what happens when badass artists pull together their talents to create magic just for fun. My friend and fashion stylist Dacy Kolsky designed the coolest space in the Sacramento Artists Lofts. In addition to her unmatched styling skills, Dacy is also a mixed media artist and an interior designer so ideas have run through my mind since I first laid eyes on this space. The concrete walls!!! Are you kidding me?
